WeHo Police Blotter: Burglaries, Robberies and ADW

Of 23 crimes reported in West Hollywood from Nov. 24-30, the majority were burglaries, two were robberies and one was assault with a deadly weapon.

There were 23 crimes reported in West Hollywood the week of Nov. 24-30 according to CrimeMapping.com, which aggregates daily crime reported directly from the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station.

  • 12:30 p.m. Vehicle burglary in 1200 block of Olive Drive.
  • 9 p.m. Vehicle burglary in 7700 block of Lexington Avenue.
  • 11:30 p.m. Burglary in 1200 block of Larrabee Street.

Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2012

  • 1 a.m. Assault with deadly weapon in 8000 block of Sunset Boulevard.
  • 1 p.m. Grand theft auto in 700 block of Hayworth Avenue.
  • 1:30 p.m. Petty theft (bicycles) in 8600 block of Santa Monica Boulevard.

or maybe there aren't as many expensive cars to break into/steal nor do the homes or residents appear (as a general whole in a blighted part of a city) to have jewelery, money or the like to easily steal. ???
