According to the Daily News, Strassner picked the couple up at the assisted-living facility where they lived and drove them to his home in Valencia. Parked in the driveway, he fatally shot the Mosses, then turned the gun on himself and pulled the trigger.
Strassner's wife reportedly discovered the three bodies in the car after hearing the gunshots.

A handwritten suicide note was found in the car, a sheriff's deputy said. The deputy did not say what the note contained.
The sheriff's department did not give a motive for the homicides, but the Daily News reported that Strassner suffered from depression.
Authorities say the case is under investigation. A spokesperson with the county coroner said an autopsy should be completed within 24 hours.
