Sheriff's Investigate Alleged Fubar Assault [VIDEO]

An inebriated man allegedly assaults five people inside the Santa Monica Boulevard lounge before being apprehended by a bouncer.

West Hollywood Sheriff's deputies are continuing to investigate the violent take-down of a man at Santa Monica Boulevard and North Edinburgh Avenue on Feb. 25, Sgt. Arthur Famble told Patch.

"It's an active case," Famble said. "The incident is still under investigation."

LA Weekly reported Tuesday the man identified as Timothy Reyes is alleged to have assaulted five people inside before being apprehended by a bouncer at Santa Monica Boulevard and North Edinburgh Avenue.

The take-down was captured on video and tweeted by Weho Daily.

Det. Mike Berbiar told LA Weekly that the fighting started over a jacket the suspect mistook for his own. Reyes was detained on suspicion of battery and public intoxication, then allegedly released.
