A car sheared a fire hydrant on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood Monday morning, which caused some flooding at the House of Blues, a Los Angeles County Fire Department official said.

The crash happened at 3:48 a.m., near the venue at 8430 Sunset Blvd., according to Los Angeles County Fire Dispatch Supervisor Rey Dong.

Firefighters at the scene reported water in the structure, he said.

He did not know the extent of flooding inside the structure.
