Vehicle Burglary on San Vicente Boulevard

A slightly intoxicated man was arrested last Sunday for breaking into two cars in the 370 block of San Vicente Boulevard. A witness saw the man "jump" the neighbor's black BMW convertible and search the glove compartment before entering a grey Lexus SUV. The man then tried turning the front door knob, which was locked. Deputies arrived as the man was walking away from the victim's door. The man, whose breath allegedly smelled of alcoholic beverages, was booked at the station. He said he was "sorry" and "made a mistake." His reason for the burglary—"I needed to someone to talk to."
