Man Shot in Plummer Park
A 26-year-old man is shot in Plummer Park at approximately 11:35 p.m. on Sunday. Sheriff's deputies are searching for the gunman.
A search is under way for a gunman who opened fire on three people in Plummer Park, wounding a man, authorities said.
Deputies on patrol heard shots on the Fuller Avenue side of the park at 11:35 p.m. Sunday, said Sgt. Dave Valentine of the Los Angeles County sheriff's West Hollywood Station.
The people who had been shot at ran toward the deputies, Valentine said, adding that a 26-year-old man was wounded by a bullet that entered his buttocks and lodged itself in his abdomen.

The victim, who told deputies he didn't know his attacker, was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for surgery and is expected to survive, Valentine said.
