Toppled Crane Injures Worker at Construction Site

The accident occurs at 375 N. La Cienega Blvd.

A worker was injured at a construction site near West Hollywood when a crane fell off the edge of a wall, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The adult male crane operator was reportedly inside the crane operating booth as it fell, and a photo posted on NBC4's website showed the crane off the edge of the wall, supported by its boom on the ground. The accident occured at 375. N. La Ciengega Blvd., which is on the border of Los Angeles and West Hollywood.

The worker suffered a serious leg injury and was transported to a local hospital, according to the LAFD. His condition was not immediately known.
