Deputies Shoot Suspect Outside of House of Blues

A videographer at the scene said the shooting appeared to have taken place in the valet parking area of the nightclub.

A male suspect is in custody and has been treated for minor injuries after a deputy-involved shooting outside the House of Blues nightclub early today.

The shooting occurred at 1:50 a.m., Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Deputy Don Walker said.

No further information was available about the circumstances of the incident, or the identity of the suspect.

A Los Angeles County Fire Department supervisor said firefighters had been called to the scene, but the suspect was not hospitalized.

No deputies were injured in the incident, Walker said.
