'Bling Ring' Leader Back in Jail, Tied to WeHo's Esthetician Wars

The former leader of the Bling Ring was back in jail today on a parole violation for allegedly carrying a gun.

Nicholas F. Prugo was questioned in connection with the arrest of Edward Feinstein, who was arrested in a murder-for-hire case involving two skin-care specialists, then arrested Friday on suspicion of violating his parole, according to police and sheriff's deputies.

Prugo served about a year of two-year sentence in the Bling Ring case before being paroled. He and a group of friends, mostly from Calabasas, used social media to determine when celebrities were out on the town in order to burglarize their homes.

The 23-year-old was held without bail, according to the sheriff's department.

According to published reports, Prugo is a friend or roommate of Feinstein's. He was arrested on suspicion of stalking Dawn DaLuise, a skin-care specialist recently charged with soliciting the murder of a rival, Gabriel Suarez. Daluise reportedly told detectives Prugo was an associate of Feinstein's and had violated his parole by traveling out of state without permission.

Jail records show Prugo was arrested in North Hollywood and later transferred to jail downtown. No other information about his arrest was immediately available.

Prugo was the sixth and final defendant to be prosecuted in the Bling Ring burglaries. He pleaded no contest to two counts of first-degree residential burglary involving break-ins at the homes of actress Lindsay Lohan and reality TV star Audrina Patridge. Five other people were also sentenced in the case.
