UPDATE: 3 Held in Armed Robbery of Weho Pot Shop

West Hollywood sheriff's deputies trace suspects in Farmacy dispensary holdup to home in Lancaster.

Three men have been arrested in the armed robbery of a West Hollywood medical marijuana dispensary, sheriff's officials announced Sunday.

The robbery was reported at 8:03 p.m. Saturday at the in the 7800 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, Lt. Ana Brackpool of the West Hollywood sheriff's station said.

"One suspect held six employees at gunpoint while two other suspects secured the victims' hands, took them to the rear of the business and ordered them to lie on the ground," Brackpool said in a statement, adding that the store manager was ordered to open the safe.

The three suspects got away with money, several glass containers holding marijuana and cellphones belonging to the victims, Brackpool said.

Investigators later tracked the three to a home in Lancaster, where the victims were able to identify them, she said.

Arrested on suspicion of robbery and kidnapping were Derrick Devon Jones, 30, of Los Angeles; Willie David Johnson, 35, of Lancaster; and Terrence Terrill Brown, 29, of Compton. Due to a parole violation, Jones was being held without bail. Johnson and Brown were being held in lieu of $100,000 bail each.
