Al Bacio Chef Pairs With Renowned Photog To Create Food/Fashion Dining

The fashion photography of renowned photographer Shaun Alexander will come to life as a culinary masterpiece when Executive Chef Christian Simionato of Al Bacio Ristorante in West Hollywood translates his images onto the plate. Simionato will prepare a 3-course dinner with each course reflecting Alexander’s famous photos on Tuesday, May 27 at 6 p.m.  Cost is $55.

“After work one night, I was enjoying a glass of wine at one of my favorite restaurants where I met the internationally acclaimed photographer Shaun Alexander at his 29th year Anniversary Photo Exhibition.  It featured life-size images of beautiful people that covered the walls from floor to the ceiling. That evening laid the groundwork for this project,” said Simionato. “Shortly thereafter, I met with him and he immediately understood and fell in love with my vision for pairing food and art photography.  Inspired by Shaun’s black and white work as well as his intensely colorful photography, I will be using some of Italy’s finest ingredients to reflect the emotions and thoughts behind the art.”

Reservations are limited and should be made by the 23rd of May. For more information, visit albacioristorante.cominfo@albacioristorante.com, or call 310.657.1182.
