Move over Oscar…

With the Academy Awards just around the corner, Hollywood is ramping up for yet another glamorous week. Gifting suites are in bloom and where to go and what to wear seem to be the talk of the town (the tough decisions for the locals). But it takes a lot of work to pull off the ultimate in luxurious events, and one that celebrities can’t get enough of.

Gavin B. Keilly, Founder and CEO of GBK (formerly GBK Productions), seems to be an expert at pulling off some of the best gifting suites in Los Angeles (and across the globe!), while also raising funds for a variety of charities in need. His company, focusing on special events in the entertainment industry, produces luxury lounges prior to the Emmys, Golden Globes and Oscars – to name a few – and has raised over $2Million in donations for such charities as Global Green, HollyRod Foundation, spcaLA, Lambda Legal and Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation. “GBK Productions has been finding ways to give 20% back to a variety of causes over the last 10 years, even during difficult times,” states Keilly. “We believe these gifting lounges should not be just for the celebrities, but also for those who are in need the most, the charities.”

From star-studded trips around the world, extravagant fashion items, and one-of-a-kind technology trinkets, it’s no wonder BizBash Magazine has tagged GBK as the “Best Gift Suite.” They truly find the best of the best to participate.

Keilly originally founded GBK Productions to make a difference in the growth of small businesses and charities, while giving his clients direct access to celebrities and media surrounding his events. “The gift lounges are about so much more than gifts,” states Keilly. “Celebrities of course enjoy attending our gifting suites and receiving a variety of great products, but they also come to give back. Neil Patrick Harris came by just to collect a bag for his charity of choice,” Keilly adds. “Jennifer Love Hewitt comes to a lot of our events and helps the small business by offering her celebrity name, and tweeting about the products to get them more exposure.”

Founded just over 13 years ago, Keilly’s company continues to amaze. Celebrity Gifting, Special Events, Weddings, and Charitable Consulting are just a few examples of what GBK offers.  And this weekend the red carpet is rolling out for who LA Times calls the “Gift Bag King” himself. Move over Oscar, Keilly is showing off his finesse yet again!
