American and European art at its best

If you couldn’t make it out to KM Fine Arts in Los Angeles for the Tête-à-Tête” preview event on May 17th, you’re still in luck.  Their exhibition, specializing in paintings, drawings and mixed media work, will run through June 18th.

KM Fine Arts, listed in BLOUIN ARTINFO’s Modern Painters as one of the “500 Best Galleries Worldwide,” will be showcasing work from such prominent artists as Alexander Calder, John Chamberlain, Michael Goldberg and Robert Indiana, alongside their group of LA contemporary artists, Ramsey Dau, Kim Gottlieb-Walker, Dana Louise Kirkpatrick, Victor Matthews and Brendan Murphy, to name a few.

They might be new to the LA scene, but KM Fine Arts has been featuring artists of early modernism, postwar and contemporary art since 2006 in Chicago. It was just last year that they decided to expand their contemporary art program and open another gallery on the west coast.  Now, not only do they feature abstract expressionism, color field painting and contemporary art, the gallery also focuses on emerging-level artists.
