WOW! A 'Parking Credits' idea proposed by a City who's all about preserving affordable rental housing and maintaining what is left of our 'small town' or 'village' feel. Without any more details, the idea of the City, who already dominates the entire City's Parking System for the purpose of Generating Income For the City which is then spent of multi-million dollar pet projects that no resident wants, and destroys historic trees and open space with insane and useless over priced projects. The City now want to accumulate parking (which is kept at an intentionally inadequate number to ensure enough tickets are able to be written to generate the desired city spending spree budget) spaces and then "sell them to businesses". Our small business are already struggling. Now, instead of building more parking for resident and business patron use, they will keep the current lower than needed parking spaces in the city AND charge local business for those rights? This is getting ridiculous.
