Sunday's Scoop: City to Sponsor International Women’s Day Celebration at PDC

The event features an art exhibit, live music, dancing and refreshments at the Pacific Design Center.

Main Event: International Women’s Day Celebration

The City's Russian and Women's Advisory Boards and the American Russian Business Alliance will sponsor a community celebration from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the , 8687 Melrose Ave. Recognizing women for International Women’s Day, the event will feature an art exhibit, live music, dancing and refreshments. Runner-Up: Group Event at Book Soup

Master Class in Novel Writing Reading students from the UCLA Extension Writers’ Program Master Class in Novel Writing will read selections from their novels, which they have been workshopping since September. Readers include Sarahlyn S Bruck, Anne Childers, Catherine Cottles, Lori S Hultin, Diep Nguyen, Nicole F Pisco, Patricia M Schwartz, Lynne Shook, & Lisa Cron. The free event begins at 3 p.m.

The absurdist play by Eugene Ionesco, translated by Neil Armfield and Geoffrey Rush and presented by Classical Theatre Lab and the City of West Hollywood, continues its run at Fiesta Hall in .
