Sunday's Scoop: B-I-N-G-O, Comedy Pot Luck

Greetings and welcome to City Scoop. Today is Sunday, July 29, the 211th day of 2012. Here’s what’s going on in West Hollywood today.

Wednesdays are generally the day people think of for Legendary Bingo, but also offers an outrageous weekend game that’s anything but B-9. With quick witted drag queens calling the numbers and celebrity guests dropping in, the Sunday games are guaranteed 2-B fun. They also always benefit a good cause. So, if you want to win the game, get there B-4 it starts at 7 p.m.

Pot Luck

Here’s a chance to see some of the best comics in the biz as well as some of the stars of tomorrow. Sundays at the is a full night of comics, starting with an open mike session at 7 p.m., followed by developing comics honing their craft at 8 p.m. As the night progresses, the club’s regular comics put in appearances, often joined by celebrities popping in to try out new material. You never know exactly what you’re going to get at the Comedy Store’s Pot Lucks, but it will always leave you laughing. Free entry before 9 p.m., show runs until 2 a.m.

It may not have all the drama of the 1990s campy nighttime soap opera, but the does have lots of fresh produce for sale. Open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the certified market is a popular destination for locals looking to stock up on fresh items to start the week. The market is located on Melrose Place (just off Melrose Avenue) between Orlando Avenue and La Cienega Boulevard.

• F-13 with Afro Hempsters and Blank Way at Whisky a Go Go. Doors open at 8 p.m.
• Secret Sundayz at the Key Club. Show starts at 10 p.m.
