Main Event: Lavender Coalition Meeting
The meeting, according to the Facebook event, is intended to begin a dialogue, to follow up on the ideas and suggestions from the , in solidarity with the Occupy L.A. movement. The meeting will take place at in Art Walk Room at 10 a.m. RSVP here.

Runner-Up: Holiday Party for LGBTQ Youth
Dedicated to giving LGBTQ Youth & allies (ages 14-24) in L.A. County an alternative to the club scene, the C.I.T.Y. x1 Youth Group is presenting its 8th annual holiday party at 6 p.m. in Plummer Park. The free event features tamales, holiday snacks, a live DJ and dancing.
