Prang Warns Residents of Erroneous Time Warner Charges

The City of West Hollywood does not allow local Time Warner customers to be charged with a Utility User Tax, says Mayor-Elect Jeffrey Prang.

Mayor-Elect Jeffrey Prang is urging Time Warner Cable customers residing in West Hollywood to beware of inaccurate service charges.

"Recently a resident contacted the City to inquire about a Utility User Tax that appeared on her bill from Time Warner Cable," Prang said in a special alert Monday. "The City of West Hollywood does not allow this type of tax to be charged for services within our City."

West Hollywood CATV Supervisor Kent S. Egenberger was able to resolve the billing problem, Prang said.
