Go Irish: Weho St. Patrick's Day Guide 2012

From leprechaun shots at Fiesta Cantina to corn beef and cabbage tacos at Lola's, there's plenty to do in West Hollywood Saturday.

Some cities go all out for St. Patrick's Day. Chicago dyes a river green. New York throws a world-famous parade. West Hollywood is no exception. 

If you are planning to paint the town green this Saturday, Weho is the place to be. So don your leprechaun hats and clip on that “Kiss Me I'm Irish” button, and then head over to any one of the following festivities:

Sunset Strip's new Irish pub will be throwing a huge St. Patrick's Day bash in their back parking lot from noon until 10 p.m. The "green carpet" block party will feature bands, merchandise, a VIP section, and of course, green beer. $10 cover for entrance.

is getting into the St. Patrick's Day spirit. The neighborhood bar is offering friendly drink specials on authentic Irish beers and whiskeys, along with special food creations by Bangers and Mashed. Doors open at 11 a.m.

Mark Mahoney’s Shamrock Social Club is hosting their annual St. Patrick’s Day party at the this year. The night features music from The Head Cat, Cold Blue Rebels and De Novo.

is hosting a double whammy this weekend, with menu items including corned beef and potatoes, green beer and Irish car bombs offered early on Friday night and continuing the next day.

Try your luck at on Robertson Boulevard. The popular gar bar's celebration will be going all day and night, with DJ Aaron Elvis from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., DJ Mike Bryant from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., plus leprechaun go-go dancers, with $10 Greygoose cocktails and "Pot of Gold" Corzo drinks.

on Santa Monica Boulevard is celebrating from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with special deals, including two-four-one drinks, 99-cent Coronitas, plus leprechaun and shamrock shots.

Have some laughs and take advantage of drink specials at the . Guzzle $5 Guinness on draft, shamrock Bud bottles, shots of Jameson Irish whiskey and Bailey’s, plus $6 Irish coffees. The Store will also host giveaways and prizes throughout the night, according to The Sunset Strip.

Lola's on Fairfax Avenue is offering "Irish-ish specials." Chow down on corn beef and cabagge tacos ($7) and Irish stew with soda bread ($10). The martini bar's St. Patrick's Day drink specials include green beer ($3), Guinness on tap ($5) and a "Lucky Charm" martini ($7).

Gorge on $6 beer-battered fried pickes, $10 Irish Nachos or $12 Guinness braised corned beef hash and eggs at . For dessert, how about an Irish coffee (brown sugar syrup, Bushmills, Baileys whipped cream and Lamill coffee)? It's "Feast Day" after all.
