Monday's Scoop: Relaxed Parking Restrictions, City Hall Closed for MLK Day

Also note, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the regular scheduled City Council meeting has been postponed to Tuesday.

Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Monday in West Hollywood:

Main Event: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Today marks the 26th anniversary of the MLK federal holiday. In accordance, will be closed. Street sweeping, metered parking and associated time limits will not be enforced, while permit parking will be enforced. Monday's City Council meeting will be moved to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. A public hearing on the Iranian American Jewish Center is on the agenda.
