Monday's Scoop: Frank DeCaro to Discuss 'Dead Celebrity Cookbook'

Comedian and radio host coming to Book Soup to talk about his cookbook featuring recipes passed on from legendary stars.

Main Event: Frank DeCaro Book Signing

Hundreds of recipes passed on from legendary stars of stage and screen—the likes of Frank Sinatra's barbecued lamb and Rock Hudson's cannoli—are revealed in DeCaro's Dead Celebrity Cookbook, which the lively Sirius XM radio personality will be discussing at at 7 p.m. Fans can purchase the publication for $19.95 at the Sunset Strip book shop.

Other Happenings:

  • The West Hollywood Public Safety Commission is meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Conference Room at City Hall. New business includes the public safety education outreach and a work plan for 2012, according to the agenda. The commission will meet again on Feb. 13.

The city of West Hollywood is offering free Christmas tree recycling until Saturday. Just place your tree at the curb for collection on your regular trash day. The city is asking residents to remove all decorations and the tree's base. Do not place your tree in a plastic bag.

The National Weather Service sees sunny, mostly clear skies Monday, with a high near 77 degrees, a low around 52, and calm winds.
