Chris Mendius Book Signing

The Chicago born author will discuss Spoonful at 7 p.m. at . The description reads: "With bad habits, but good hearts, the colorful cast of personalities in Spoonful centers on a group of young low-life drug dealers, outcasts and artists, coping with love, loss and the seductive perils of heroin, set in Chicago of the ’90s."

Eveleigh's Friday Blackboard Lunch

This week's mouthwatering menu by Chef Jordan includes an aioli chicken sandwich topped with in-house cured bacon, romesco and manchego or a lamb meatball sandwich with mint salsa verde and lamb chopper cheese on a brioche bun. Sounds delish.

Conspirator

Wagatail presents the drum and bass/electronica duo at the . Blogger Brent Mendoza writes: "One of the many splinter groups formed by members of Philly’s trance fusion pioneers Disco Biscuits, Conspirator will take the stage along with fellow e-tastic music makers Justin Paul and KJ Sawka." Doors open 8 p.m. Tickets are $15. 

Exit The King

The absurdist play by Eugene Ionesco presented by Classical Theatre Lab and the City of West Hollywood, continues at Fiesta Hall in for another weekend in a row. General admission is $20, with $15 for Weho residents, $10 rush, and $5 for students or seniors.

The Forecast

The National Weather Service forecasts a chance of drizzle and patchy fog before 11 a.m., otherwise cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny. Temperatures are expected to reach near 70, and drop to around 49.
