1. The Avenues Annual Saturday Sale

  • Where/When: Melrose Avenue, Robertson and Beverly boulevards / Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Why Go: Local and internationally known retailers along The Avenues district of West Hollywood are offering in-store promotions and sidewalk sales on art, fashion and interior design all day long.
  • Admission: Free

2. The Roots in Concert

  • Where/When: , 8430 Sunset Blvd. / Saturday, Doors open at 9 p.m. Show starts at 11 p.m.
  • Why Go: The hip-hop superstars return to Los Angeles, taking a break from their East Coast gig on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, to rock the Sunset Strip.
  • Admission: Tickets are $49.50 in advance and $55 day of show.

3. Mazer Lesbian Archives Film Screening

  • Where/When: , 626 N. Robertson Blvd. / Sunday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Why Go: Join the Archives for a special viewing of lesbian short films programmed by Betsy Kalin. Refreshments will be served.
  • Admission: Suggested donation $10.

4. Russian Jeopardy

5. Julia Benita Designs Trunk Show

  • Where/When: The Chroma Studio, 8229 Santa Monica Blvd., Suite 101 / Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Why Go: Enjoy an afternoon of bubbly, bites, and sparkle just in time for Valentine's Day. The event will also feature gift bags compliments of The Chroma Studio and a raffle to benefit Kingsley Elementary School.
