The holiday shuttle is another component of the city's "Don't Drink and Drive" campaign to increase public awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving and to help reduce the number of drunk driving-related fatalities, said Bonnie Smith, the city's special events supervisor.

"Our thought is, you want to go out and party that night. We want you to be able to park your car in a central spot, go out and drink without ever getting into that vehicle," Smith told Patch. "We are really happy to offer it this year."
