Thursday's Scoop: Planning Commission to Review Zoning Ordinance Updates
By law, the Zoning Ordinance must be made consistent with the newly updated General Plan within a reasonable period of time.

The main item on the Commission's agenda is a discussion of the Zone Text Amendment process and implementation of the West Hollywood General Plan 2035, which was adopted Sept. 6, 2011. Since the adoption of the General Plan, staff has brought forward one Zone Text Amendment containing changes to the Zoning Ordinance to reflect new land use designations, as well as changes to the Zoning Map. The meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at the .

The purpose of the Closed Session meeting is to conduct the annual Public Employee Performance Evaluation of the City Manager Paul Arevalo. Mayor Pro Tem Jeffrey Prang explains his latest post: "All City of West Hollywood employees are evaluated on a routine and confidential basis every year.
