The Lot's New Owners to Raze, Replace Old Studio Buildings
Demolition begins in a few weeks, with construction done in six phases.
West Hollywood's 11-acre studio lot at the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Formosa Avenue will soon be razed to make room for new soundstages and six-story buildings, reports the Los Angeles Times.

According to the LA Times, its new owner, CIM Group, plans to raze and replace the old buildings and stages with glass-and-steel structures rising to six stories.
