Monday's Scoop: 'Diary of a Crackhead' and Musical Mondays

Diary of a Crackhead

A staple on the comedy circuit for years, comedian Stevie Mack has won acclaim for his one-man show about addiction and recovery, “Stevie Mack’s Diary of a Crackhead.” Find out how this LA-born comic rose from the ashes of family riddled with crime, pimps, pushers, addiction, gangster ethics and mental institutions as he performs “Crackhead” at 9:15 p.m. at the , 8162 Melrose Avenue.

Celebrate all things musical at in Boystown. Each Monday from 9 p.m. to midnight, Eleven hosts Musical Mondays celebrating Broadway and Hollywood musicals. The night features audience sing-alongs to musical clips playing on screen as well as singing contests. Sometimes, groups of people will act out entire numbers (a la Rocky Horror Picture Show). Just like the musicals themselves, Musical Mondays will always leave you smiling.

's north parking is the place to get some of the freshest fruits and vegetables currently in season as the weekly farmers’ market gathers there from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. It’s always a great place to stock up on locally grown foods, plus start up chats with interesting people.

  • LA Coka Nostra with DJ Rhettmatic of The Beat Junkies at Roxy Theatre. Shows starts at 8 p.m.
  • Steel Panther with St. Cello's Fall and Thrashyr at House of Blues. Doors open at 9 p.m., show at 9:30 p.m.
