L.A. Marathon Coming to Weho March 18

Runners will enter West Hollywood just past the 13.1 mile midpoint of the 'Stadium to the Sea' course, which begins at Dodger Stadium and ends near the Santa Monica Pier.

An estimated more than 20,000 runners will once again be making their way through West Hollywood for the Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday, March 18.

The 26.2-mile “Stadium to the Sea” route, which begins at Dodger Stadium and ends at Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica, enters Weho almost midway through the marathon (Mile 13), at Sunset Boulevard and Havenhurst Drive.

The route through Weho then travels two more miles west on Sunset, passing , and the . Runners will continue left onto San Vicente Boulevard and right onto Santa Monica Boulevard, spotting the before exiting Weho at Doheny Drive.

Street closures in Weho on race day include Sunset just west of Crescent Heights to Doheny from 5 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.; San Vicente from Sunset to Melrose, Santa Monica Blvd. from La Cienega to Doheny, and Doheny from Nemo Street to Beverly from 5 a.m. to 1 pm.

Parking will not be allowed along the race course. “No Parking” signs will be posted before the event. Vehicles in violation will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
