WEHO SUPPER CLUB WEDNESDAYS CELEBRATES TWO YEARS

WeHo Supper Club Wednesdays, a rotating dinner and cocktail event benefitting local charities, celebrates its two year anniversary with its upcoming dinner on Wed. May 18, happening at Fig & Olive Restaurant at 8490 Melrose Place West Hollywood, CA 90069.  The beneficiary of the evening will be Christopher Street West/LA Pride.

The WeHo Supper Club has been meeting weekly or bi-weekly at local restaurants since May 2009.  Each event features a different West Hollywood-area restaurant and a different charity, with 10-20% of the food and beverage sales brought in for the night being donated to local worthy causes.

In its first two years, WeHo Supper Club has raised over $55,000 for local area charities, including The Trevor Project; APLA; Project Angel Food; American Red Cross Disaster Relief; Point Foundation, and others.  Participating restaurants include Nobu, Palihouse, Sur, Taste, Baby Blues BBQ, Lola's, Comme Ca and many others.

And, with the economy slowly turning around, WeHo Supper Club founder Chad Hudson expects the total donations for year three to surpass last year’s total, commenting, “This is such a fun and easy way to give back to the community,” Hudson explains. “Simply by having dinner and/or drinks at our locations on Wednesdays, a portion of the proceeds go directly to a worthy local charity.”

To attend the WeHo Supper Club Two-Year Anniversary dinner at Fig & Olive on May 18, please call 310-360-9100 to make a reservation.  Be sure to mention WeHo Supper Club to ensure the charity gets credit for your meal.
