City of West Hollywood in the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr's. vision of "the beloved community" and in collaboration with Academy for Couture Art; American Society of Interior Designers; Here is Elsewhere Gallery; Hamilton Selway Fine Art; Pacific Design Center; Phyllis Morris; Allan Dallatorre, Dallatorre and Ryan Farber, Avenues of Art Fashion and Design invite you to the official launch of "Get on the Bus,"a community based, creative arts/education initiative dedicated to the empowerment and enrichment of the City's youth.
Keynote speaker, Franklin Sirman, Chief Curator of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The "Keeper of the Dream" award will be presented and will honor an individual who has demonstrated exceptional community leadership.
Admission is free.
