City Council Regular Meeting

Public Hearing:

  • General Plan Adoption (1st adoption hearing)

The West Hollywood City Council will begin its public hearings for adoption of the updated General Plan, Climate Action Plan and Environmental Impact Report on Monday, October 18, 2010 and Monday, October 25, 2010. The General Plan Update process has been underway since fall of 2007, and has included community input, workshops and neighborhood meetings, a General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC), and joint study sessions between various City commissions.

The General Plan is a guiding policy document that defines how the City will use and manage its physical, social and economic resources over the next 25 years.

The Draft General Plan, Draft Climate Action Plan and Environmental Impact Reports are available online at www.weho.org/generalplan and at the City Clerk's Office or the Planning Counter at West Hollywood City Hall, 8300 Santa Monica Boulevard.
