One Billion Rising for Justice

We will be gathering in West Hollywood at the Sal Guarriello Memorial Park to RISE RELEASE DANCE!  Attendees will gather beginning at 9 am, with program at 10 am. 

The program will include remarks from West Hollywood Mayor Abbe Land, V-Day Board Member Jane Fonda, and other V-Day supporters.  A wall of justice will be erected, honoring women and girls seeking justice in the face of violence.  Acclaimed musician Lili Haydn will provide a musical reflection, and FlashMob America will lead the “Break the Chain” dance, choreographed by legendary Debbie Allen.  The West Hollywood Domestic Violence Task Force, including Peace Over Violence and National Council of Jewish Women-LA, will be present to provide resources.
