  Hollywood Temple Beth El invites you to Shabbat Shalom- Song, Story, Spirit
and Soul
 this last Friday of
the month, July 25, at 7:30 PM at 1317 N.Crescent Heights Avenue, West
Hollywood. Welcome in the spirit of the Shabbat with dramatic readings and
music,  fellowship and companionship.



  This month's theme is “Summertime-Songs of Jewish Broadway”,
a tribute to the role of Jewish composers in shaping this very American art
form. George Gershwin’s “Summertime” from Porgy and Bess, Jerome Robbin’s
Fiddler, and other works will highlight the evening. The service will be
conducted by Rabbi Norbert Weinberg, joined by pianist and singer, Marcia
Crews, and other participants.

The next “Shabbat Shalom” will be held on Friday evening, August
29.



The program is open to the public at no charge but please make
