The Grand Irrationality
Developed at the National Theatre in London, Jemma Kennedy’s new comedy kicks off the New Year by making its world premiere at the Los Studio in Los Angeles.
In astrology, the Grand Irrationality is when the planets are all out of alignment and nothing adds up – a pretty fair description of Guy Proud’s life. His job depends on the success of his new ad campaign. He’s sleeping with Nina, the product manager, but he’s in love with Vivienne, who is French. Murray, his estranged father breaks his leg and has to move in with him, along with his sister Rose, who works out her post-partem depression by obsessively baking cakes. What’s a Gemini to do?
THE GRAND IRRATIONALITY opens on Friday, January 11th and runs through March 3, 2013. Performances are on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 4pm at THE LOST STUDIO located at 130 S. La Brea Avenue (between 1st & 2nd) in Los Angeles, CA 90036. Tickets are $25. For reservations call (323) 960-4443 or online at www.plays411.com/grand
