On Tuesday, November 27, 2012, Rock & Reilly's and Gorge present the 1st Annual Screw Cancer Wine Fest. From 6-9pm, unscrew some of the world’s finest wines while helping the world’s most promising non-invasive cancer treatment. A raffle will also take place, which prizes such as a Three-Course Chef's Dinner for two at Gorge, a $250 Reilly's Gift Card and a bottle of 99 Point 2010 Achaval-Ferrer Finca Altamira, among others.
All proceeds will benefit The John Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation, which funds a promising new cancer treatment that may one day replace radiation and chemotherapy, and is edging closer to human trials. Kanzius RF therapy attaches microscopic nanoparticles to cancer cells and then "cooks" tumors inside the body with harmless radio waves.
A $20 donation gets you unlimited wine tasting at Rock & Reilly’s and Gorge, with the following wines being featured:
