A panel of experts on Domestic Violence will be addressing the community on “DOMESTIC
VIOLENCE…It’s Not Just a Family Matter”
on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, promptly at 12:00 Noon, at National
Council of Jewish Women/Los Angeles, 543 N. Fairfax Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90036. The
event is cosponsored by the Women’s Advisory Board of the City of West
Hollywood and will be moderated by Los Angeles Times Columnist Sandy Banks. The panel includes: Robin Sax, Attorney and Social Justice
Advocate; Eve Sheedy, L.A. Deputy City Attorney on Domestic Violence
Policy; Ava Rose LCSW and
Director of Women Helping Women for NCJW/LA; Terra Slavin, Lead
Staff Attorney on Domestic Violence for the LA Gay & Lesbian Center and Monica
Quijano, LAPD Domestic Violence Coordinator.
