The City Council members were on hand Saturday morning to cut the ribbon officially reopening West Hollywood Park, which now features 2.5 extra acres of parkland.
After being closed for almost nine months, the redesigned West Hollywood Park reopened on Saturday morning. Members of the City Council were on hand to cut the ribbon officially reopening the park.
The northern portion of the park, where the baseball field originally was, has been completely redesigned. A large promenade now runs the perimeter of the park.
The redesigned park features 2.5 more acres of parkland, two new basketball courts and many new trees. The large, old trees that surrounded the original West Hollywood Library, which was demolished in September 2011, still remain.
