Weho Weekend Watch: Meet and Greet, Lomography Party and Laurel Park

The weekend is right around the corner and you probably have no idea what you’ll do yet.

West Hollywood Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check our picks for the activities to hit and new bars, restaurants or shops to explore.

1. 16 Comics Show 

Find out what's happening in West Hollywoodwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

  • Where and When: on Feb. 18. Doors open at 8 p.m. Show starts at 9 p.m.
  • Why Go: You'll get to see 16 national headliners back to back. Plus, Sarah Silverman is scheduled to go on stage at 10:15 p.m. 
  • Pricing: $20 for general admission and it's 21 and over only. There's also a two drink minimum.

  • Where and When: on Feb. 18 from 6-9 p.m. 
  • Why Go: Lomography LA wants to celebrate its one year anniversary with you. There will be an open bar, free food, some of the greatest live entertainment LA has to offer as well as a raffle with Lomographic goodies.
  • Pricing: Free 

3. Laurel Park Dedication Ceremony

  • Where and When: Laurel Avenue Park, 1343 Laurel Avenue on Feb. 19 at 10:30 a.m. 
  • Why Go: Weho will host a dedication ceremony for the newly created Laurel Avenue Park. The property, which was once designated a historic landmark by the city, is known as "Tara" to many. The house and the adjacent structures will not be open to the public. Refreshments will be served after the dedication.
  • Pricing: Free 

4. Meet and Greet with Mito Aviles and Lucas John

  • Where and When: PAR-LA (next to Eat Well) 8250 Santa Monica Blvd. on Feb. 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • Why Go: If you haven't had a chance to attend a meet and greet with candidates, this can be a good time to start. Other running candidates occasionally show up to other fundraisers. When March 8 comes around, you'll have the opportunity to cast an informed vote.  
  • Pricing: Free

5. Bobby Brown at the Key Club

  • Where and When: on Feb. 20. Doors open at 8 p.m. and show starts at 8:30 p.m. The event is 18 and over. 
  • Why Go: He's got a new single titled "Get Out the Way." 
  • Pricing: $30 to $90
