Weho Weekend Watch: Lykee Li, Fashion Week Cocktails and Love Sucks Play

1. Mondrian Sessions: Lykee Li

  • Where and When: Skybar at
  • Why Go: You've probably heard the catchy song, "Little Bit" by this Swedish indie pop-electronica artist and it'll be fun to sing along in person.

2. Wild Fashion Week Cocktails

  • Where and When: The on March 11 at 5-7 p.m. 
  • Why Go: The London will feature a selection of cocktails and bar bites at a low price. You can enjoy a Wildflower Martini, Wild Vintage Mojito or Wild Fashionista as well as curried vegetable samosas, braised oxtail slider with pickled cucumber and fish and chips.  
  • Pricing: $5 for the drinks and $5 for valet.  

3. SALT Optics Trunk Show

  • Where and When:  on March 12. Event will be held from 12-5 p.m. 
  • Why Go: The entire SALT Optics line will be available. Enjoy refreshments, a DJ from 2-5 p.m. and special prices on the collection.  SALT Optics is an idependent, Southern California company that creates premium handcrafted eyewear.
  • Pricing: Free to attend 

4. Laurel School Community Meeting

  • Where and When:  on March 12 from 10-12 p.m. 
  • Why Go: Laurel School will hold a community meeting for parents to discuss a middle school option for West Hollywood students. Prior to this year, Laurel School served kindergarten through 6th grade students. Laurel School is the only LAUSD school located in the West Hollywood area to serve middle school students.
  • Pricing: Free to attend 

5. Love Sucks Play

  • Where and When: The Coast Playhouse, 8325 Santa Monica Boulevard. All weekend (Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., Sundays at 7 p.m.)
  • Why Go: Event organizers say this play is a,"48-hour riotous romp through the bars, backseats and bathroom stalls of New York City's Lower East Side." Love Play follows six romantically people through a maze of "mistaken identities and hilarious sexual misadventures."
  • Pricing: Tickets are $40 and are available by calling 866-811-4111 or visiting www.lovesucksplay.com
