West Hollywood Sheriff's responded to that took place during Oct. 18-22. A deputy called the three reported attacks on gay men within a five-day period "isolated incidents." An investigation is under way by the Sheriff's Station.

The Disabilities Advisory Board recognized those individuals, businesses and nonprofits that have contributed positively to people living with disabilities at its , including Weho resident Ric Rickles, the Amanda Foundation, LMS Health Partners and KTYM's Disability Network Radio Program.

Crowds of people dropped by the celebration on Larrabee Street Saturday to observe the goings on and to tip dancers. Some were there throughout the evening, others only stayed a few minutes before moving on to restaurants and clubs.

One of the world’s largest Halloween celebrations, the (adult) West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval is taking place from 6-11 p.m. Monday along Santa Monica Boulevard, between Dohney and La Cienega Boulevard. The main event features live music, food, and some very creative costumes. Admission is free.

The second installment of WHAP!, a new lecture series co-hosted by the City of West Hollywood and the California Institute of the Arts, is taking place Friday in Council Chambers. Democracy in America will feature a conversation with Dick Howard and Martin Plot.

Bring your old televisions, monitors, computers, laptops, cell phones, VCR players, DVD players, stereos, scanners, fax machines, keyboards, mouse devices, radios, printers, telephones, microwaves, and more to the City Hall parking lot on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the Free Document Shredding and E-Waste Collection Event.
