Week in Review: National Night Out, Centrum Sunset Update and Weho Man Named Cocaine Ringleader

In a , commissioners voted to let the City Council make a decision about the controversial Centrum Sunset project. The commission also declined to review a decision by Community Development Director Anne McIntosh to approve for the old Laurel Hardware building.

Patch reported that rents will increase this year, an adjustment of 2.25 percent for Sept. 1, 2011, to Aug. 31, 2012. The adjustment is required under the city’s rent ordinance and is based on the consumer price index in Los Angeles-Riverside-Orange County.
