Week in Review: DEA Raids Weho Medical Marijuana Collectives, LA Marathon and Radioactive Fallout

There was plenty to discuss this week in West Hollywood with the final vote count on Monday, two medical marijuana dispensaries raided Tuesday afternoon, and a plume stemming from the nuclear disaster in Japan reaching Southern California on Friday. And then there was the 2011 Honda Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday.

Approximately 2.5 miles of the 26-mile, 385-yard “Stadium to the Sea” course traveled through West Hollywood. Runners entered Weho at Sunset Boulevard and Havenhurst Drive for miles 13-15, headed west on Sunset Boulevard, passing , , the , before exiting the city at Doheny Drive.

Some 757 provisional and absentee ballots were counted on Monday afternoon. First-time city council candidate  picked up an additional 405 votes, placing first in the election.
