Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Wednesday in West Hollywood:

WestWeek

The Pacific Design Center's week-long industry gathering contines today, beginning at 10 a.m. with a keynote on "Trends in Interior Photography" by Architectural Digest editor-in-chief Margaret Russell and reception at 11 a.m.; and the "Rise of the Rock Star Designer" panel at 3:30 p.m. featuring David Bromstad (HGTV's Color Splash), Martyn Lawrence-Bullard and Kathryn Ireland (Bravo's Million Dollar Decorators). Japan Night 

The annual event returns to the tonight, bringing Japan's hottest rock n’ roll talents stateside. Plus, blogger Brent Mendoza doesn't want you to miss another import performance by UK buzz band fiN, playing an early industry set for “those in the know." Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10.

High Kicks

The new art and music series continues this evening at the hotel's Skybar. Glam-rock talent Justin Tranter of Semi Precious Weapons will man the turntables poolside beginning at 9 p.m. Guests may RSVP to skybarla@morganshotelgroup.com or call 323-848-6025.

Lewis MacAdams Book Signing

The author will be discussing and signing his latest collection, Dear Oxygen: New & Selected Poems 1966-2011. The book costs $22.95, and the event is set for 7 p.m. at .

Transportation Commission Meeting

According to the agenda, the Commission is considering interim parking regulations for the south side of Doheny Road and the east and west sides of Sunset Hills Road, as well as amending the bicycle design standards in the citywide street furniture program. The meeting is taking place at 7 p.m. in the Community Conference Room at City Hall.

The Forecast

Spring is in the air! The National Weather Service forecasts sunny weather in West Hollywood, with a high near 71 and a low around 53. Expect calm wind and mostly clear skies in Weho today.
