Sprouts and Shutters: Chocovivo, Red Bread, Creation Grill, Nespresso

Chocovivo
, a bean to bar dark chocolate emporium, closed its doors on Abbot Kinney and decided to relocate to 12469 Washington Blvd. at Centinela on the Culver City/Mar Vista border.

Creation Grill, a Mediterranean eatery replacing Vanilla Bean Eats at Ocean Park and 29th St. in Santa Monica opened on June 5, reports EaterLA. It does not yet have a liquor license but the owner is considering the city's BYOB option.

Red Bread, an organic and sustainable baked goods store, will have a brick and mortar store in Culver City at 13322 Washington Blvd., thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign that ended June 18. Red Bread officially began operating in January 2012, as a “social justice based organic kitchen and egrocer.”

Salt Air, a new neighborhood seafood spot in Venice opened Friday night, reports EaterLA. It's located at 1616 Abbot Kinney Blvd. and seats 75 plus 12 at the bar. The menu features traditional and some uncommon items, like fish skin chip, lobster roll and olive oil poached salmon.

Pacific Animal Clinic, located at 11343 Santa Monica Blvd. in West L.A. recently opened its doors to the community. Its services include digital radiology, surgery, dentistry, examination, laparoscopic surgery and more. For more information, visit its website.

Hilton Garden Inn, opened in Marina del Rey in the last week. It's made up of 134 rooms, a restaurant and nearly 2,000 square-feet of meeting space.

Nespresso Boutique Bar, located at 320 Beverly Dr. in Beverly Hills, will soon serve up coffee, food and even alcohol. The boutique bar also sell Nespresso machines and accessories and offer services like capsule recycling.

Bru's Counter, offering sandwiches prepared on a wood-fired grill as well as farm fresh salads, is slated to open 10700 Santa Monica Blvd. in Century City, reports EaterLA. The business comes from the same proprietors as Santa Monica's Bru's Wiffle.
