The rally is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and San Vicente Boulevard in West Hollywood.

Members of the West Hollywood City Council and others in the LGBT community will participate in a rally Wednesday after the expected U.S. Supreme Court rulings on Proposition 8 and the Defense of Marriage Act.

The rally is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and San Vicente Boulevard in West Hollywood.

The U.S. Supreme Court is expected to release all remaining opinions Wednesday, including those on California’s Proposition 8, which bans same-sex marriage in the state, as well as the Defense of Marriage Act, which bars same-sex couples who are legally married from receiving federal benefits.
