Monday's Scoop: 'Tara' Site, Power Outages and Valentine's Day

You've got 35 Valentine's Day options available to you around the neighborhood.

Public Safety: The Public Safety Commission will meet at in the community conference room at 6:30 p.m. 

Laurel Park: Weho will host a dedication ceremony Saturday at 10:30 a.m. for the newly created Laurel Avenue Park, 1343 Laurel Avenue in West Hollywood. The property, which was once designated a historic landmark by the city, is known as "Tara" to many. The house and the adjacent structures will not be open to the public. Weho Weather: The day will start off cloudy then gradually become sunny with a high near 65, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a low around 52 degrees.

Power Outage: Southern California Edison is scheduled to replace a faulty transformer at 8250 Sunset Boulevard (on the southeast corner of Sunset and Harper). A scheduled power outage will occur Wednesday from 8 a.m to 5 p.m. Residents who will be affected can visit www.sce.com/outage or call 1-800-655-4555.
