Monday's Scoop: Holiday Parking, Honda Marathon and New Parking Structure

In observance of Presidents Day street sweeping, metered parking and associated time limits will not be enforced in Weho.

Presidents Day Holiday: In observance of Presidents Day City Hall is closed and street sweeping, metered parking and associated time limits will not be enforced today.

Voter Registration Deadline: Tuesday is the last day to register to vote in the March 8 elections. For more election information, . 

Weho Library and Parking Structure to Open: A dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the West Hollywood Park/Library Parking Structure will take place on Saturday, Feb. 26, at 11 a.m. at the , 619 N. San Vicente Boulevard (enter parking garage from Robertson Boulevard at El Tovar Place). The new West Hollywood Library is scheduled to open in Fall 2011. Honda L.A. Marathon: Runners participating in the Honda L.A. Marathon "Stadium to the Sea" will make their way through our neighborhood on March 20. The marathon will begin at Dodger Stadium and will finish in the city of Santa Monica, but in between runners will run through Weho. An estimated 30,000 runners are expected to participate.
