Southern California Edison will be replacing two electrical cables between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on the 7700 block of Willoughby Avenue, affecting about 84 Edison customers, according to an   posted on the city 's website. Traffic control will be set up in the vicinity of the poles. Arts/Entertainment:

  • The Over The Hill Banddirected by Geoffrey Enthoven, will be screened at the Laemmle Sunset at 8000 Sunset Bl. The film tells the story of 70-year Claire, who decides to launch a band with her rebel son after the death of her husband. The 98-minute film will be showing at 2:30 p.m. and 7:20 p.m.
  • Los Angeles-based author Lela Lee presents and signs the fourth book in her Angry Little Girls series, Fairy Tales for Angry Little Girls, at at 7 p.m. A signed edition is available for $17.95.
  • Keith Haring's Apocalypse exhibit premieres at Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center’s Advocate & Gochis Galleries. Ten original silkscreens, donated to the Center by Tyler Cassity, will be on display until April 1. An opening reception will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., following a brief program at 6:45 p.m.
  • Nicole Cohen's The Mythology of Interiors, an original live video performance of short acts, written and directed by the New York and Berlin-based artist, opens at 's SKYBAR with a performance from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The site-specific project is made up of short acts based off of the hotel's historical interior spaces. The video installation will be exhibited through May 31.   • Starfucker, a Portland-based quartet, will be taking the  stage at 1o p.m. Opening at 8:30 p.m. is Skull Tape, followed by the vintage rock sounds of Unknown Mortal Orchestra at 9:15 p.m. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $13-15.
