Friday's Scoop: New Parking Structure, Rain and Weekend Plans

There's a 100 percent chance of rain tonight in West Hollywood, according to the National Weather Service.

Weho Park and Library Parking Structure: The city of West Hollywood will hold a ribbon-cutting and dedication ceremony for the new West Hollywood Park/Library Parking Structure on Saturday. The event will take place at West Hollywood Park at 11 a.m., be sure to enter the parking garage from Robertson Boulevard and El Tovar Place. The West Hollywood Parking structure will have 333 parking spaces available. The West Hollywood Library is scheduled to open in the Fall this year. for more information. 

Construction Advisory: The Southern California Gas Company will be trenching the pavement on Santa Monica Bouelvard on Saturday. Traffic control will be set up between 8 a.m. to 5  p.m. for the eastbound Santa Monica Blvd. at Formosa Avenue and eastbound traffic on Santa Monica Blvd. will be reduced to one lane. The Gas Company will be back again on March 10 to complete the work.  If you have any questions, click here

Power Outage: A scheduled power outage in West Hollywood  will take place on March 1 and will affect 162 Souther California Edison customers. The scheduled power outage will affect residents on the on the 500 block of Orlando, Croft, Alfred and 8400 block of Melrose, Rosewood and Clinton avenues. Click here for more information.

Weho Weather: Expect some rain today with a high near 58 degrees today, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will bring a low around 46 degrees and the National Weather Service says some of the storms could produce some heavy rainfall. There's a 100 percent chance of rain tonight.
