Did You Feel a Shake in West Hollywood?

The quake rattles areas of Southern California at 1:47 p.m. Thursday.

Did you feel a slight jolt in Weho this afternoon? 

The U.S. Geological Survey initially registered a 4.2 magnitude earthquake near Newhall at 1:47 p.m. Later, scientists updated the size to a 4.3 magnitude quake.

Two temblors followed shortly: a 2.0 magnitude quake north of San Fernando at 1:50 p.m. and a 2.3 magnitude quake in the same area at 1:53 p.m.

Los Angeles firefighters conducted a citywide assessment and said no damage or injuries were reported, LAFD spokesman Mike Spence said in an advisory.
